Hello everyone,

Welcome to the start of the 2022-2023 school year at HSHS. This year will pose learning opportunities in a challenging and ever-changing dynamic environment. Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated from the University of MS with a Bachelors in Accounting in 1991; thereafter, landing a job as Internal Auditor at a local bank. Upon further investigation and much prayer, I chose the teaching profession. In 2006, I graduated from the University of Walden (online) with a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in English. I went on to receive my other certifications in Elementary Education, History, Business, and SPED. I have also worked in after-school-and-summer tutoring (all subjects), obtained my CDL to drive a school bus, and worked online for a Writing testing company. 

Every day is a new day. I am ready to take on this new way of teaching in an efficient and effective manner. I am confident you are ready to take on this new way of learning as well.  Together, we can accomplish great educational endeavors while becoming productive members of society.
